is an organisation started by a group of IIM alumni and professors with the
vision of fulfilling the skill gap that exists between the youth in semi-urban
and rural areas and the skill requirement of the corporates. EduBridge seeks to
be the link that connects corporates with talent from semi-urban and rural
areas through training & employment. In this endeavour, EduBridge has
partnered with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), a GoI entity
and a well reputed Venture Capital Firm – “Acumen Fund”. EduBridge was also
awarded “The best performing start-up” by NSDC in 2011-12.

since its inception. They are now looking to expand to several new states
and reach a target of training 1 Lac youth per annum by 2015.
deals with the problem of securing employment for the unemployed youth based in
rural or backward areas. While the youth are in need of jobs, corporates are in
dire need of trained high quality talent. However, due to the existing skill
gaps, the lack of quality training and the lack of means of funding for such
training, the corporates are unable to absorb the unemployed youth.
Solution: Thus, through
its unique training methodology, ability to provide high quality training at
the doorstep of the youth and through various partnerships with corporates,
institutions and govt bodies, EduBridge is able to build the bridge that helps
the unemployed youth in crossing over to the corporate world.
Impact: Through its
various skill development centers, EduBridge has been able to provide
employment to over 70% of its students across various service sectors in large
companies. Most of these have resulted in household incomes increasing by over
50% for several households in the rural and semi-urban areas.
